What is the story behind ePUBLICITYpr.com?

Located in Philadelphia, PA, ePUBLICITYpr.com is a part of a fresh and innovative New Media Company (other components include popular lifestyle & entertainment website, PopCulturez.com), which has been delivering innovative services since 2001. We started our first do-it-yourself PR website in early 2007, which just catered to musicians, later revamping our infrastructure to include businesses and organizations, too. The initial website came about after seeing musicians send to us and some of our peers, expensive, traditional paper press kits that were often formatted incorrectly, and cost a lot of money to send and print. So, we knew from our expert experience, that sending press kits and press releases online, would be better and more efficient than sending via regular mail or via fax (for press releases). It also would allow them to update their materials on the fly, as things changed for them (knowing that this was impossible with a paper press kit).


We saw a need in the service to expand beyond musicians, after our company’s founder had a meeting with a local nonprofit organization which stated that they recently lost their state funding, which meant that their PR budget and other key components of their organization would be cut. So our hopes were that we could help nonprofit organizations, while also providing businesses with budgets, a place where they could streamline their publicity efforts.
